Art on the Pier, began, in 2012, showcasing the artwork of 60 local artists. Since then it’s grown annually displaying hundreds of local and national artists’ work and thousands of local children have also benefited from displaying their artwork publicly.
Creative Waves have also developed a community garden ‘Bugcycle’ in Beach House Park that is free for the public to enjoy. It’s a creative space, with everything made from recycled objects in their art workshops. There are educational activities in the garden including a bird trail and identifying trees & bugs.
“We aim to inspire people and inject art into the community by collaborating and sharing our wealth of experience, talent & creativity."
